Blue Cat Audio Protector Brick wall limiter

The Blue Cat Audio Protector is a 0 dB stereo brick wall limiter with adjustable dynamics response. Typically used on the master bus, it protects the audio output from overloads, limits the general volume and increases the loudness in a transparent way. Besides the very intuitive operation, the Protector offers creative effects such as distortion, pumping or heavy limiting, while the color metering and the customized Dynamics Histogram provide visual feedback.

In addition to its efficient processing features, the Protector - like most Blue Cat audio plug-ins - has practical side chain capabilities thanks to its MIDI CC output. This unique technique allows not only side chain limiting effects, but also parameter modulations by controlling the parameters of other plug-ins.
