In the spirit of the legendary Uni-Vibe, the Chase Bliss Audio Warped Vinyl HiFi continues the concept of the Chorus/Vibrato combination. It combines the characteristic sound of a distorted record with modern modulation effects. The signal path of the Warped Vinyl is completely analog, while the effect control of individual parameters in the pedal is digital. Accordingly, the flexible pedal combines warm analog sounds with extensive switchability including a memory function for two different presets.
Lag' allows the delay between the dry and wet signals to be determined and the character of the chorus effect to be changed, while the RPM control controls the rate of the vibrato effect. It becomes really interesting when the modulation range of the Warped Vinyl HiFi is used. Using the ModuShape switch, both halves of the LFO wave are individually composed of sine, triangle or rectangle, while the warp control of the selected waveform creates a temporal offset character of the wave tip.
Last but not least, the Chase Bliss Audio Warp Vinyl HiFi offers flexible control options via MIDI or expression pedal, with the front DIP switches assigning the parameters to be controlled via EXP individually.
