EBS MetalDrive SE

The EBS MetalDrive SE is a high gain metal distortion pedal designed for use with electric bass guitar. The pedal can deliver immense levels of gain, whilst preserving the low end, which is essential in a bass pedal. The pedal is simple to operate, with its two controls. One adjusts the amount of distortion and the other controls the overall volume. The pedal has three modes of distortion. The ‘Tubesim’ mode simulates the sound of an overdriven tube amplifier. The ‘Flat’ mode sets the EQ of the sound flat and the ‘Standard’ mode sets a slight mid-cut in the sound. The MetalDrive can also be used with guitars, whether in standard tuning or de-tuned. It will also handle 7-string and 8-string guitars with ease. The pedal has a single true bypass footswitch and is operated via a 9V battery or optional (not included) power supply.
