Reso 7 - Thin Head for a Sort Sound

With the Reso 7 heads, Evans is finally putting an end to the assumption that the batter head dictates the resonance and sustain of a drum. In fact it is the resonating head that is responsible for these two sound characteristics. A thin resonating head has a similar effect on the sound as a thicker batter head, only with significantly less sustain. The thin material thickness of the Reso 7 heads with a coated surface produce warm and full sounds which do not build up on each other but remain defined and precise.

Level 360

Naturally the Reso 7 heads feature the Level 360 technology. This allows for an exact fit as well as for a larger tuning range and easier tune-ability.
