The Fame Audio Studio CM-7 is a high-quality processed, professional condenser microphone. It convinces with a warm, lively and open sound image. Female voices benefit here immediately from the subtle compression in the treble, while male voices get more presence by boosting the upper mids. The bass range is tidy and not overemphasized. The focus is clearly on its use for speech and vocals, but other sources that need to be given a bit more presence can also be excellently reproduced with the Studio CM-7, be it acoustic guitars, guitar amps or wind instruments. Due to the special design of the treble band, there are no undesirable cutting frequencies in the treble range.

The Studio CM-7 is supplied with a high-quality, modern mounting bracket: The microphone is screwed into an inner holder by means of 4 screws, which in turn is acoustically decoupled from the outer holder by means of 6 strong rubbers. Both are made of solid metal and have a scratch-resistant paint finish. Compared to traditional designs, this one is significantly more durable and, above all, more effective due to the harder suspension. Due to its elegantly tapered body, the Studio CM-7 fits perfectly into the swing mount and sits by itself.
