The Fame Custom Maple Rock Shell Set Matte Clear Laquer convinces with professional quality and excellent sound. It is made of high quality maple , the classic for professional drums. The shells consist of five layers and thus come to a thickness of 5 mm. The special thing about the construction are the reinforcement rings at the top and bottom of the shells. These measure an additional 5 mm, which gives the sound its natural focus. The simple clear lacquer finish in matt and the Fame Vintage badges round off the visual appearance.

Vintage Lugs and Special Hoops - Professional Shell Hardware

The lugs of the Fame Custom snare are modeled after the classic Slingerland Lugs. They are made of metal and feature perfect tunability and high durability. The Fame Special Hoops are curved inwards at the top. This creates a larger contact surface for the drumsticks, which results in more intense rim shots and clicks. The widened top flange also creates an effect similar to cast hoops in that the sound is focused. In addition, the rounded flange protects the sticks when playing drums.
