The heart of the four-string instrument is the nine-piece neck made of mahogany and walnut, which in combination with the body wings made of mahogany promises a sustain-strong sound. The slim "Rounded" neck profile with 38 mm saddle width also offers manoeuvrable playing characteristics, so that every groove goes off by itself. Two powerful Gibson T-Bird humbuckers with ceramic magnets in combination with the traditional passive circuit promise powerful bass sounds with high assertiveness. Last but not least, the Gibson Thunderbird Bass Tobacco Burst features bass Grover mechanics and the classic Gibson 3-Point Adjustable Bridge.
