Gretsch Catalina Club Stand. CT1-E824, Satin Flat Black #FB

With the first edition of the Catalina Club Sets the American manufacturer Gretsch created a drum set that was compact and easy to transport without having to make sacrifices in sound. This marked the start of the triumphal march of the Gretsch Catalina Drums through the clubs of the world. The newest version of the Catalina Club Series offers these Gretsch typical characteristics which have made this kit so popular, but is has been somewhat refined, perfected and features a brand new look.

New Features

The 2014 version of the Catalina Club Drum sets is equipped with a new tom mount which makes contact with the shell at only two places. This allows for almost dampening free vibration behavior of the finely crafted mahogany shells. The Catalina Mini lugs help in this cause. The included tom holder is attached to the bass drum with help from the "Round Badge" Tom rosette. An additional mount on the tom holder of the Catalina Club Sets allows you to attach an optional 7/8” cymbal arm.

Logo-Badge and New Colours

Even optically the Catalina Club Drum sets have been freshened up with a new round logo badge and new colour finishes. You have the choice of finishes between various foils or satin finishes, and in a Catalina drums typical retro look.
