The Hammond PRO-44H V.2 Melodion features a built-in microphone that delivers a powerful and accurate sound that outperforms the use of an external microphone. Simply connect it to an amplifier, P.A. (or even a LESLIE™) with a standard 6.3 mm jack cable and hit the stage! "Key click" is minimized, and using equalizers and outboard effects becomes easy. Your sound will come through, with clarity and high energy.

With the built-in microphone, you can move freely on stage while playing your Hammond Melodion. At Studio, the choice of standard and optional mouthpieces allows for various configurations, including placing your melodion on an organ or piano and playing it like a normal keyboard.

The PRO-44H has the widest keyboard range of any melodion and is the first to feature a unique built-in dynamic microphone that produces less mechanical noise compared to an external microphone. Its exceptionally clear reed sound is reproduced in High Definition quality, producing very warm and deep tones that are second to none. In the V2 version, the microphone unit for the pickup has also been renewed. In particular, the performance in the mid-high range has been improved, so that when connected to an amplifier, the sound becomes clearer and more natural, realistically reproducing the expression of the music.
