Istanbul X-Ray Silence Crash 16" Traditional Finish

The X-Ray Silence Crash 16" is a low-noise cymbal made of B20 bronze, specially designed for low volumes. Due to the many drilled holes, the X-Ray Silence Crashes are many times quieter than conventional cymbals. This makes them particularly suitable for practicing, rehearsal rooms, performances in small venues or as an ear-friendly variant for drum teachers and students. The X-Ray Silence Crash is constructed in such a way that, despite the many holes, an authentic playing feel is conveyed. That's why extra wide edges on the bell and on the outermost edge of the cymbal have been kept free of holes to guarantee a stroke and playing feel similar to its undrilled counterpart.

Like all Istanbul Mehmet Cymbals, the X-Ray Silence series is 100% handmade in Turkey. Old tradition meets modern and innovative approaches to achieve the best results. The classic B20 alloy, which is used as standard in most professional cymbal series, is used.
