With the reissue of the dreadnought classic Martin D-16E Rosewood, the manufacturer Martin presents an electro acoustic guitar in all solid construction and new components.

Woods and Construction

A construction consisting of a Sitka spruce top and a rosewood body creates a transparent sound that conveys very clear trebles, rich mids and warm bass frequencies, making the guitar particularly suitable for singers and songwriters. Thanks to a flat Select Hardwood neck with Modified Low Oval profile and ebony fingerboard, the guitar is extremely comfortable to play in all 20 frets and allows even difficult fingerings to be mastered easily. And thanks to a 44.45 mm wide bone nut and a TUSQ bridge inlay, the Martin acoustic guitar intonates perfectly and is easy and precise to tune with the help of stylish open gear nickel tuners that adorn the characteristic Martin headstock.

Pickup

For amplified application, the dreadnought guitar is equipped with a Fishman Matrix VT Enhance NT2 pickup system, which reproduces the acoustic sound in a very natural way. The Martin D-16E Rosewood comes in a sturdy Martin soft shell gig bag.
