The Meinl Byzance Dual Multi-Trash 14" is a hand hammered cymbal made of high quality B20 bronze with a complex Byzance Dual finish. This finish is composed of the finely lathed and polished to a brilliant finish on the outer ring and the unlathed area inside. In addition, the underside is also lathed and given a traditional finish. This surface mix creates the unique look and contributes to the sound of the Byzance Dual Multi Trash cymbals. Thanks to precisely cut sound holes, the Multi Trash 14" is ideally suited as a trash crash or stack component. Thanks to its size of only 14", combinations with the most common hihats are also possible. Sound tinkerers and all those who want to become one get a new ingredient for crazy sounds here.
The Dual Crashes and Crash Rides from the Byzance Extra Dry series offer a visually strong hybrid finish with an unlathed, raw area in the middle and a lathed and painted edge. Different sized hammer marks cause an irregular compression of the material, which adds more complexity to the sound and shortens the sustain. The different surfaces of the Dual Crashes and Crash Rides can be used as different playing zones for ride patterns and crash sounds. This makes them suitable for moderate styles like Jazz, Funk or R'n'B.
