The Meinl Crasher Hats Benny Greb Signature belong to the Meinl Artist Concept models, which are developed in close cooperation with the artists. These new Crasher Hats from Meinl consist of four individual components that are stacked. The result is an extremely short sound that combines an electronic shaker character with the naturalness of a hi-hat. Perfect for short effects, with synthetic and cutting sound.

I was looking for a sound with an extremely short, dry, clear but also high sound, which is nevertheless dynamic in order to embed itself like a shaker in the overall sound. I didn't find anything, so something unique, new had to be created. Four single cymbals combined to a so far unknown sound. The result is incredible! A unique sound that blends Ghost Notes and other subdivisions beautifully while making a percussive statement. Perfect sound without unwanted overtones.
