Meinl Hybrid 5A Sticks SB106 American Hickory

The Meinl Hybrid 5A sticks are professional drumsticks made of hickory with hybrid tip. In contrast to the standard model, the hybrid model has a quarter inch longer length and a longer taper, which increases accessibility and control. The hybrid tip starts as the Acorn tip and then becomes the Barrel tip, ensuring a multi-faceted sound. Weight and pitch are matched within each pair (Weight Matched & Pitch Matched). The pre-selected American Hickory wood offers excellent weighting and durability without splintering.

Since 1951 the company Meinl in Gutenstetten has been producing high-quality cymbals, gongs and percussion. Since 2018 there have also been drum sticks, jazz brushes, rods and mallets for all Meinl applications - Made in Germany! The weight of the sticks is matched up to 1.5 grams, in addition all Meinl sticks are pitch-matched, which means that the sound of a pair of sticks is identical. In addition to many standard and hybrid sticks, numerous rods and mallets are also produced for all ranges.
