Meinl Talking Drum ATD-M

The Meinl African Talking Drums are carved from a single piece of solid mahogany and are decorated with a carved design. The drums are equipped with two hand-selected goatskin heads which are bound by nylon cord. By squeezing the cords the tension of the heads is increased allowing the tone pitch to be varied, creating the unique, pitch bent Talking Drum sound.
