The Neutrik NBLC75BVZ17 BNC cable connector features excellent return loss values, making it an ideal choice for HD applications. It is specifically designed for large diameter cables that are commonly used to transmit high data rates over long distances.

As usual, Neutrik focuses on good quality that guarantees long life and excellent performance. This is ensured by the precisely machined brass parts as well as the gold-plated ground contact which is protected against corrosion. The latter also has optimum shielding for high-frequency HDTV signals up to 4.5 GHz. Cable protection and strain relief ensure sufficient resistance even under higher loads. The shield and jacket crimp technology used prevents exposure of the ground shield braid and additionally ensures electrical and mechanical safety. The guide area provides resistance to lateral force, which prevents bending of the contacts and the resulting unusability of the connector.

The practical rearTWIST locking mechanism is used for recessed receptacles. This has a protruding bend protection sleeve on which the plug can be easily turned. The clever design of the rearTWIST clamping sleeve also allows uncomplicated handling in tight spaces. Secure mounting is ensured by the locking of the connector pin, which signals correct seating.

The outstanding properties of the NBLC75BVZ17 have been tested for HDTV suitability by the broadcasting company ARD and ZDF. Due to the positive results, the connectors are now also used there.
