Noise Engineering Quantus Ampla

Quad VCA/mixer for audio and CV signals.

Quantus Ampla consists of four DC-coupled VCA's, a voltage inverter per VCA and a summing circuit. The CV inputs of the four VCA's are normalized in a loop. That is, the normalization runs not only from channel one to four, but also from channel four to channel one.

Each VCA can be operated in two modes:

• VCA is closed and opens on incoming positive voltage.
• VCA is open and closes on incoming positive voltage.
