The Ortega RUOX-TE Tenor ukulele convinces with its noble appearance and its warm sound. Thanks to a laminated body, the sound is enriched with a pleasant, warm note, making the instrument ideal for vocal accompaniment. The flat neck offers a comfortable playability in all frets. The open headstock features side-mounted tuners for precise tuning of the 4 nylon strings . The black high-gloss finish is accentuated by fine-linked wooden Bindings, which are tastefully matched to the fretboard and the discreet soundhole rosette. Construction and woods

In order for the instrument to produce a powerful sound, the top is made of laminated spruce and the body of laminated mahogany . In combination with the wafer-thin finish, each tone develops assertively and comprehensively even with light touches. Meanwhile, the large size ensures pronounced bass, midrange and treble frequencies. Furthermore, the mahogany neck with walnut fingerboard promises a particularly easy grip in all 18 frets.

Hardware and Design

Since the saddle is optimally adapted to the 37 mm wide saddle , the ukulele intonates extremely cleanly over the entire scale length of 440 mm .
