The Ovation CE-48-RR-G offers unparalleled playing comfort, both sitting and standing, thanks to its super-flat roundback construction . Furthermore, the instrument is extremely well suited for fine Pickings and light strumming. The flat neck is also very easy to grip in all 22 frets and gets an optimized access to the high positions through a generous cutaway . Due to the in-house pickup system , the acoustic sound can be reproduced unaltered and naturally even through an amplifier. Visually, the guitar is rounded off by a classy sunburst finish, tastefully accentuated by the multi-soundholes and hardwood epaulets .

Construction and woods

Due to its wafer-thin laminated spruce top , the Ovation CE-48-1-G produces clear midrange and treble frequencies, which are enriched with warm bass frequencies by the Lyrachord body . At the same time, the Nato neck with an Ovangkol fingerboard provides excellent playability on all 6 steel strings , which are fixed with their Ball-Ends in a bridge made of Ovangkol.

Hardware and design

The 42,8 mm wide nut and saddle are perfectly matched and convince with a clean intonation on the whole scale length of 643 mm . In addition, the chrome-plated die-cast tuners promise precise tuning of the strings. In addition to the colorful epaulettes, the instrument is rounded off by fine multi-ply bindings that contrast pleasantly with the eye-catching Ruby Red finish .
