The Masters Maple Reserve Drumset from Pearl in our special Rock Edition stands for classic drum sound with the highest quality in workmanship and sound. The Pearl Boiler Set includes a 22" x18" bass drum, 12" x9" + 13" x10" toms and a 16" x16" + 18" x16" floor tom. The thin drum boilers made of the finest maple wood with a special reinforcement ring (maple, 4 layers, 5 mm + 4 layer reinforcement rings) produce a soft, open sound with classic resonant shimmer. The drum boilers are equipped with FatTone Hoops, Aluminum OptiMount suspension, Remo U.S.A. skins and a full-size bass drum cushion.

Like all Masters boilers from Pearl, the Masters Maple Reverse drums go through the typical painting and finishing process in 38 steps. In combination with the warm maple sound, unusual instruments are created, both visually and sonically, which are contemporary, yet with a subtle touch of vintage sound.

Only the Masters Maple Reverse boilers are equipped by Pearl with a special reinforcement ring made of maple in the boiler. This promises the robustness and stability of the thin boiler, but also tonal control is guaranteed. The resonant boilers make Masters Maple Reserve drum kits the ideal choice for almost any style of music, delivering a rich, full sound with a lively punch and smooth, round bass.

Hardware & Co: Pearl Masters drums in incredible quality

With the FatTone Hoops, the Masters Maple Reserve Drums have very thin hoops that give the resonant sound of the kettle air to breathe and support it. The steel tires are strongly rounded at the upper edge, so powerful rimshots can be realized despite the low material thickness.

Thanks to the OptiMount system made of aluminium, the toms are mounted completely free-swinging so that the boilers can unfold their sound freely. Moreover, thanks to the ingenious suspension, there are hardly any cross-talks to neighbouring drums. The skins are from Remo, Toms are equipped with Remo Clear Ambassador skins, the Bass Drum has a Remo Powerstroke 3 skin. For a fat bass drum sound, a full-size bass drum cushion is included.
