The Reference Pure Drum from Pearl gives the term high-end a whole new sound. The 6-ply shell consists of 4 layers of maple and 2 layers of birch giving a shell thickness of 5.4mm. Diverse new features make playing on this drum a true sound experience: the small STL Tube Lugs as well as the thin "Fat Tone" hoops allow the shells to resonate freely.
