Percussion Plus PP711 Afuche

An easy to use small metal afuche or cabasa which is mounted on a brightly coloured solid board with non-slip feet for use in Music Therapy or Early Years play.

The board can be situated on a table or desktop and the afuche can be used with minimal hand movements by using the flat of the hands to move the beads to produce a rhythmic sound using long and short strokes. Playing can assist with developing a connection between hand movement and sound and provide the player with pleasure from expression by individual playing or in group participation.
