Remo ENCORE Pinstripe clear 20" Bass Drum Batter

The Remo ENCORE Pinstripe clear 20" is a double-layered bass drum head with an integrated damping ring that eliminates unwanted overtones for extra fat and deep sounds. The fat sound of the ENCORE Pinstripe heads is produced by two layers of Mylar foil, each 7 mil thick (approx. 0.18 mm). The double-layer construction not only gives the Pinstripe heads a significantly longer service life than single-layer drum heads, but also provides a very powerful, short sound with very short sustain.

The Remo Encore heads are the price-performance star from Remo's head range. The heads are manufactured in the Taiwanese Remo factory according to the design of their American siblings. A difference is made when attaching the Mylar film to the aluminum ring:
Instead of connecting the two with liquid glue, the striking surface is pressed into the aluminum ring together with a steel core and thus firmly joined together.
