SCHECTER Damien Platinum-7 Satin Black 7-string electric guitar with EMG pickups

The Schecter Damien Platinum-7 Satin Black is the ideal 7-string electric guitar for all gothic rockers and metalheads. It is wrapped in matt black and convinces with striking Platinum Bats in the fingerboard. In addition to the mahogany body with curved top, Schecter relies on a glued, three-piece maple neck which, thanks to Ultra Access Heel and "Thin C" profile, can be played unhindered up to the highest positions of the rosewood fingerboard. At the guitar amplifier, the well-known powerful combination of EMG 81-7 and EMG 85-7 humbuckers provides adequate high gain sounds. Last but not least the Schecter Damien Platinum-7 Satin Black is equipped with a classic Tune-O-Matic bridge and Grover tuners.

For the construction of the Schecter Damien Platinum-7 Satin Black, Schecter Guitar Research relies on the proven set-neck construction, whereby the extended 26.5" scale (673 mm) guarantees reproduction from the low B to the high E string. The flowing Ultra Access Heel at the transition from the mahogany body to the glued, three-piece maple neck also guarantees problem-free access to the highest registers, while the extremely slim "Thin C" profile lies comfortably in the hand and allows any playing technique to go out of hand with ease.

EMG pickups for powerful rock and metal sounds

For an adequate sound, the Schecter Damien Platinum-7 Satin Black is also equipped with active EMG pickups, which in rock and metal circles are not for nothing regarded as a reference for particularly brute sounds. Accordingly, an EMG 81-7 humbucker on the bridge provides searing metal sounds, whose sharply focused mids and highs ensure a clean definition and high assertiveness even with the deepest riffs on the low B string.
