Due to its solid construction , the Sigma S00M-18S produces a very powerful tone, which especially fingerstyle fans will love to the highest degree. The fine 00-12 Fret Western guitar from the Sigma Custom Shop also impresses with its high-quality materials and classic appearance, reminiscent of the early generations of modern acoustic guitar. Woods and construction

To generate a powerful and defined sound, the manufacturer relies on a construction that consists of an Adirondack spruce top and a mahogany body . This way, every note is unfolded quickly and clearly with an additional warm touch. The short mahogany neck is equipped with a fine ebony fingerboard marked with fine dot inlays and has 20 frets . A combination of a compensated bridge inlay and a 44.5 mm wide nut made of bone ensures clean intonation over the entire scale length of 645 mm.

Design and Hardware

In keeping with its traditional appearance, the open headstock is equipped with side-mounted nickel tuners that guarantee precise tuning of the 6 steel strings . Similar to its historical originals, the Sigma S00M-18S is kept optically rather simple. Thus the top is edged with a discreet multi-ply binding , which perfectly matches the multi-stripe soundhole rosette . The high-quality instrument is finished with a gauzy high-gloss lacquer that allows a deep insight into the versatile grain of the wood.
