Sonor Einzelpedal Perfect Balance Standard

The Sonor single pedal Perfect Balance Standard is a professional pedal for the bass drum, based on the Jojo Mayer Signature pedal, but without a folding mechanism. The Sonor pedal has identical running characteristics and the same feel as the Jojo Mayer pedal. It is driven by a strap made of ballistic fibre material, so the movement of the foot is transferred to the felt beater without loss of force. The pedal board is absolutely flat and comes without engraving. The Sonor single pedal Perfect Balance Standard has a fixed column, so it can also be operated with an inclined foot position, which is indispensable for some bass drum techniques. The hinge is ball bearing mounted, so that every stroke is almost without resistance. A simple nylon bag with Sonor logo is included.

Based on the bass drum pedals of the 50's, Sonor developed the Perfect Balance Pedal with the pioneer Jojo Mayer. This standard version lacks the folding mechanism, which is a great advantage for the stability and longevity of the pedal. In addition, the pedal board is not engraved and the clamps traditionally fixed with a wing screw. But Sonor can offer this version at a significantly lower price and with the same playing feel and running characteristics and even increased stability. The matt polished pedal board is ball bearing mounted, absolutely flat and allows a power transmission without resistance. The column with adjustable spring tension, fixed only on one side, also allows playing techniques with an inclined foot, such as the Swivel technique.
