The Spector Euro4 LX RS Black Stain Rudy Sarzo Signature was developed in close collaboration between Stuart Spector and the Havana-born bassist, whose rocking grooves were instrumental in shaping songs such as Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, White Snake, Dio, Blue Oyster Cult. Accordingly, the four-string turns out to be a first-class metal bass, which sets standards with the unhindered playing comfort of a neck through construction and the versatile offensive sound of the SimS Super Quad pickups.

The full-length neck of the Spector Euro4 LX is made of maple with graphite reinforcement.

Full-length neck with unimpeded access to the 24th fret

For the construction of the Spector Euro4 LX RS Black Stain, Spector uses the classic neck-through construction with a three-part maple neck, which is additionally reinforced by graphite inserts and lies comfortably in the hand with the classic Spector profile. The body wings are made of alder with a chic curly maple top and nestle comfortably against the player with their typical curvature. In addition, all 24 frets of the rosewood fingerboard are freely accessible thanks to a clever design trick, in which the bridge is placed further towards the centre of the body without changing the long scale scale.

Rudy Sarzo selected two British SimS Super Quad pickups as pickups for a Spector Euro4 LX RS Signature Bass. Due to their construction with four coils that can be combined in different ways, they offer an enormous tonal range. Each pickup has its own 3-way switch to elicit an authentic single coil, split coil or humbucker voicing, with an LED embedded in the pickup indicating the operating state by its colour. In addition, the Spector Tone Pump has active electronics on board, which have tone controls for bass and treble, enabling precise interventions in the sound process.

At the headstock of the Spector Euro4 LX Rudy Sarzo Signature Gotoh tuners provide precise tuning.
