There have been many approaches in building headless guitars in the past 30 years, the most famous ones were built by Ned Steinberger. Ola Strandberg's main approach is to create ergonomic instruments with a light weight, an optimized neck shape and a body shape that is friendly to your body position, whether you are standing or sitting. While all these features are impressing, you will not have to make any compromises in terms of tone!
The patented EndurNeck™ supports a relaxed and natural position of the hand, while relieving the wrist and stimulates the forearm musculature. Extreme low string actions are possible thanks to the carbon fiber fillets in the neck, that pretty much resistant against changes of temperature as well. The slighty fanned fingerboard also supports the natural hand position at all neck locations and optimizes the string tension.
Chris Letchford is the first artist to be honored with a signature model. The main songwriter behind "Scale the Summit" is a luthier himself and determined the exact specs of the guitar for his work with the band.
