The Tama Starclassic Maple MA42TZBNS-MBB Molten Satin Brown Burst is a 4-piece shell set in professional quality and comes with 22" Bass drum, 10" and 12" Tom Toms as well as a 16" floor tom.

Starting with the Maple Shells, over hardware in Black-Nickel finish, up to the eye-catching high-gloss finish, the Starclassic Maple MA42TZBNS-MBB shell set is professional in every detail and can score with exceptionally high quality standards.

Structure

These include heads from Evans, Star Cast Mounting System, Quick-Lock Tom Brackets and cast hoops. The drum shells are made of the finest maple wood, with six layers of 5 mm thickness on the toms and eight layers of 7 mm thickness on the bass Drum .

Heads from Evans: Tama Starclassic shells

The heads for the Starclassic Maple drums come from the Evans G2 (batter heads), G1 (resonator heads) and EQ4 (bass drum) series. They are tuned with cast zinc hoops, which, just like the rest of the shell hardware, have an excellent Black nickel Finish. The Toms are suspended vibration-neutral with the help of the Star Cast Mounting System.

The shell hardware in the form of tensioning brackets, cast tensioning hoops and Star-Cast tom suspension is completely in Black Finish and gives the Starclassic Maple Drums a noble and exclusive appearance. All hardware parts are underlaid with rubber pads to optimize the resonance of the maple shells.

Quick-Lock Brackets and Air-Pockets

Tom and Floor Tom come with Quick-Lock Brackets for fast and easy setup and dismantling. The Floor Tom feet are equipped with Air-Pockets, i.e. an air suspension, thanks to which the full resonance potential is exploited. For tuning stability, all clamping screws are equipped with Tama Hold Tight washers.
