The Tama Superstar Classic CL52KR in Tangerine Lacquer Burst is a 5-piece drum set made of 100% maple incl. Stagemaster hardware package from Tama. Tama's Superstar Classic series marks the climax of a 40-year success story for the time being, and to commemorate it, the classic T-badge has been re-installed. The varnished maple drum boilers are made of carefully selected Maple wood and with high-quality boiler hardware, such as Star Mount, Low Mass Lugs and triple flanged tension tire to an allround drumset, which more than convinces by its low price. The relatively thin kettles produce a brute and assertive sound without compromise, also thanks to the fine 45° kettle burr and the Tama Power Craft II skins.

Professional boiler hardware at a low price

The tom-toms are mounted using the proven Tama Star Mount suspension, which guarantees free vibration behavior and full resonance. The suspension is mounted at four points on the top of the boiler and still has flexible wing nuts, thus guaranteeing ideal access during assembly and flexible alignment of the boilers. The rubber-backed Low Mass Lugs and the classic Tama T-Badge were adopted from the old Superstar series and also make an optical highlight with retro charm from the Tama Superstar Classic Drumsets.

Tama Superstar Classic: 100% Maple

Unlike the Tama Superstar Hyperdrive, the Superstar Classic boilers have the classic boiler sizes and no shortened shells. The thin drum boilers of the Tama Superstar Classic are made of carefully selected Maple wood. The bass drum consists of 8 layers with a thickness of 7 mm, toms and snare of 6 layers with a total thickness of 5 mm. This results in a resonant, deep basic character with a lot of power and assertiveness, which certainly has recognition value.

The fine 45° boiler burr in combination with Tama Power Craft II skins guarantees a sensitive response and high dynamics. The Tama Superstar Classic boilers are visually rounded off by the high-quality lacquer finish.
