Electro-acoustic Grand Auditorium with V-class bracing and including case

Thanks to the combination of a mid-sized Grand Auditorium construction and solid tonewoods , the Taylor 314ce V-Class covers a wide range of styles. With the help of the innovative V-Class bracing , the individual notes unfold quickly and with fine definition, so that both pickings and strummings are perfectly accentuated. At the same time, the flat neck provides optimal access to the high frets through a Venetian cutaway . In addition to high-quality hardware, the acoustic guitar is equipped with the in-house Expression System 2 , which picks up one pair of strings each via three piezo elements and transmits the acoustic sound of the guitar unaltered to the amplifier. The modern appearance is rounded off in a very tasteful way by filigree inlay work and the noble high-gloss varnish of the top wood . The instrument comes with a sturdy case .

Construction and woods

To enrich the sound with clear mid and treble frequencies, the top is made of Sitka spruce . The interplay between the fine-grained wood and the top binding allows the sound to respond quickly and at the same time decay for a long time, so that each note fades smoothly into the next. Sapele back and sides complete the overall picture with warm and wide-ranging bass frequencies. Meanwhile, the flat mahogany neck with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard ensures comfortable playability.

Hardware and Design

To ensure a clean intonation on the whole scale length of 648 mm , the compensated saddle is made of Micarta and the 44:5 mm width is made of Black Graphite . Furthermore, the nickel-plated die-cast tuners allow a precise tuning of the 6 steel strings , which are fixed with Bridge-Pins in a bridge of ebony . The top is bordered by a multi-ply binding , which is very harmonically matched to the three-ring soundhole rosette . The headstock and fretboard feature Italian Acrylic Gemstone inlays that perfectly complement the guitar's sleek exterior.
