The Taylor GS Mini-e Rosewood is thanks to its compact design excellent for use on the road. A high-quality electronics enriches the instrument in its functionality and creates the possibility of the acoustic sound also amplified to the best. Despite its small size, the acoustic guitar produces a powerful and midrange-rich sound that unfolds quickly and over a wide area. In addition, the short neck allows an easy grip in all 20 frets , which intonate cleanly with the help of finely crafted hardware. A thick padded bag is included and protects the instrument perfectly from shocks.
Construction and woodsThe GS Mini-e Rosewood gets its name from its rounded shape, which corresponds to the proportions of the Taylor Grand Symphony. The instrument is very lightly built to develop a rich sound despite its small construction. A solid Sitka spruce top thus provides powerful midrange frequencies, while a curved, laminated body made of rosewood enriches the basses with a warm note. At the same time, a flat Sapele neck with an ebony fingerboard guarantees an exceptionally comfortable playing experience.
Hardware and FinishThe characteristic Taylor headstock features chrome-plated die-cast tuners that ensure precise tuning of the 6 steel strings . In addition, a Micarta bridge inlay and a 42.8 mm wide Nubone nut ensure very precise intonation over the entire scale length. The rather plain matt lacquered instrument is rounded off by a generous tortoise-shell pickguard and a three-ring soundhole rosette , which is perfectly matched to the 4 mm dot inlays in the fingerboard.
ElectronicsThe Taylor GS Mini-e Rosewood is equipped with a user-friendly ES-B pickup system that can be individually adjusted via a side preamp . The system also includes an integrated tuner with LED display . The active pickup is powered by 2 button cells ( CR 2032 ) , which promise a playing time of approx. 300 hours.
