The Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo USB is a 2x6 audio interface with USB 3.0 interface (not backwards compatible), so it is usable for Windows users. The audio interface incorporates best converter technology with 24Bit/192kHz, which promises high-quality studio sound. In addition there are two microphone/line inputs with switchable phantom power, a Hi-Z input, a stereo headphone output, 4 line outputs and an optical input, making a total of 16 channels available. Everything is rounded off with the feature of a bus-powered USB audio interface, which leaves the area of application of the UA Apollo Twin Duo completely open and does not restrict it. It is therefore an outstanding audio recording tool on the go, as well as in the studio or in home recording applications. In addition, the entire range of UA plug-ins can be accessed in real time during an audio recording, which means that entire racks of classic EQs, compressors, microphone preamps, tape machines, reverbs and guitar amps can be available. DAW support is extensive, making it compatible with popular digital audio workstations such as Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic and Live.
