The Yamaha CPX 1200 II VS convinces with its noble workmanship, its high-quality materials and last but not least its powerful and defined sound. The large medium jumbo body produces a warm tone that unfolds quickly and is therefore particularly well suited to vocal accompaniment. Furthermore, the generous cutaway guarantees optimized access to all 20 frets , which intonate cleanly thanks to a millimeter-precisely matched Hardware. Construction and woods

The mid-sized, all-massive construction consists of a spruce top and rosewood body . This combination produces a very balanced sound with clear midrange and treble and crisp bass frequencies, making the instrument versatile. For the necessary playability sorgt meanwhile a mahogany neck , which is equipped with an ebony fingerboard . The individual components of the body are bordered by delicate wooden bindings made of mahogany , which are excellently matched to the corresponding soundhole rosette.

Hardware

To ensure precise intonation, the manufacturer relies on a compensated bridge inlay and a 43 mm wide nut made of urea . At the same time, the 6 steel strings can be tuned cleanly with the help of the golden die-cast tuners. The acoustic sound can be individually adjusted via the high-quality System 63 SRT pickup system using a 3-band equalizer and passed directly to an amplifier.
