Crucial to easy playability are a flat nato neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard , which is easily and obligingly accessed even from the 14th fret up thanks to a generous cutaway . A 43 mm wide urea nut and a corresponding compensated bridge inlay sorgen also ensure clean intonation over the entire 650 mm scale length . For amplified use, the manufacturer installs a proprietary System 64 + ART pickup system , which is equipped with a side preamp with integrated 3-band equalizer and tuner and transmits the acoustic sound to the amplifier in a very authentic way. The Yamaha CPX 700 II SDB is rounded off with a noble high-gloss finish and a transparent pickguard.
