Yamaha YAS-875 EXB Alt Saxophon

The Yamaha YAS-875 EXB is an alto saxophone with a great sound and a pleasant playing experience . It has a soft response and is so flexible in sound that it can be used in all kinds of music. The keys of the YAS-875 EXB have been completely redesigned. The shape and mechanism of the keys have been modified to give the player a smoother and safer feel. The comfort was thus increased and manual adjustment made easier.

Also the lower bow of the instrument was newly developed. The diameter of the deep C and D tone holes has been reduced and the playability of the low notes improved. Thus a constant playing resistance of the instrument could be achieved over the entire range. The intonation of the YAS-875 EXB could also be further improved by optimising the tone hole sizes and positions.

The Yamaha YAS-875 EXB comes with the redesigned Custom Ebonite Mouthpiece. Here the baffle, chamber and other parts of the interior design were redesigned to achieve a larger projection and a softer sound. Also the shape of the tip has been changed to increase comfort and improve the approach.
