The Zoom R16 combines three production-tools in one! It is an 8-track multitracker, an interface and a MIDI-Controller.

With the R16 you can capture audio in any setting, from live music performance, drums with multiple mics to music rehearsals and songwriting. Its capability to record 8 tracks in 24bit/44.1kHz simultaneously makes proffesionalism easy. The R16 can also be used as an audio-interface to record 8 tracks directly to your computer. But that's not all: To mix your recorded tracks you can even use the R16 as a controller for your DAW. In Mackie Control emulation mode, major DAW applications such as Cubase, Logic, and Sonar are supported.
