The AMS Neve 1073OPX Digital Bundle is the 8-channel version of the popular 1073 preamp with integrated monitor path and headphone output . A digital output via USB and Dante can be optionally retrofitted . Each signal benefits in its own way from the excellent and sought-after sound quality of standard Marinair transformers . Such transformers are hardly ever available from the factory and on the second-hand market only at horrendous prices!

The 1073OPX is designed to be mounted in the recording room and thus follows the path Neve has already successfully taken with the 1081 rack system and the 4081 Quad Mic-Pre: The implementation of a comprehensive remote control including Total Recall is included. Accordingly, the line and microphone inputs as well as the outputs are available as Dsub-25 connectors on the rear panel. Finally, the monitoring of the recording musician can also be realized via the unit: A headphone amplifier is integrated and can be fed either via 2 of the input channels , an analogue monitor path or, if the digital option is inserted, via the digital audio path . If external monitoring is required, the 8 channels of the AMS Neve 1073OPX are immediately summed and provided at a stereo output.

So with the 1073OPX concept, you get world-class amplification of your mic signals right in the recording room, saving sensitive signals long cable runs, while still maintaining full control of your preamps. With the optional Digital Option Card, you also get mastering-quality conversion. For such a price Neve Preamps of this equipment has never been available before!

The Neve 1073OPX Digital Option Card expands the Preamp and 8 channels of AD conversion for the Preamps and 2 channels of DA conversion for the mastering-quality monitor path. It provides connections for a Dante network and USB 2.0.
