With the Sub-18-A of the Challenger series, FAME audio offers an enormous bass package with enough connectivity for all of your gigs and events. The powerful 18" subwoofer with its 600 watt Class D power amplifier delivers a rich sound in the 30-150Hz range and convinces in any situation. The Sub18A also optimally supports many tops.

An M20 thread makes it possible to securely mount loudspeakers firmly above the subwoofer. The transport is facilitated by 2 recessed handles and with a low weight of only 38.75Kg. Rubber feet provide the necessary protection from scratches and dents on the underside.

If you take a look at the back, every user, whether technician or layman, is delighted to quickly realize that very little assembly is required. Working with the Challenger series loudspeakers and subwoofers is very intuitive. A stereo input XLR connection and two stereo XLR outputs are available. The main output also provides the crossover function, which can be switched between 120Hz and 80Hz. Directly below this, 2 LED indicators provide information on the status of the SUB12A, whether it is on or off and whether the internal limiter is activated.

Other useful features include the 3 switches on the right, which allow you to activate the Groundlift, to change the frequency response with a slight bass boost and to reverse the phase.

The Challenger 10A, Challenger 12A and Challenger 15A loudspeakers are compatible as well as its smaller siblings: The Challenger SUB 15A and the Challenger SUB 12A!
