With the Fender American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster Tungsten , the traditional manufacturer expands its successful hybrid guitar series , which has already proven itself in the Stratocaster and Telecaster forms thanks to its clever construction and incomparable functionality. Equipped with an Acoustic Engine pickup system , which Fender developed in cooperation with Fishman especially for this special series, the sophisticated solidbody model combines the playing comfort of an electric guitar with the sound of a Jazzmaster and an acoustic Western guitar. Thanks to the complex system consisting of a Fishman Under-Saddle Transducer , a Fishman Acoustic Enhancer Body Sensor and a magnetic Acoustasonic Shawbucker pickup , both acoustic and electric sounds can be elicited from the instrument. The American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster comes with a sturdy Fender 1225 Deluxe gig bag.

The solid mahogany body with an inlaid top made of spruce in Jazzmaster construction colors the entire sound with a wide-ranging and warm note, which is especially noticeable in the bass and midrange frequencies. In addition, a grippy mahogany neck with a Modern Deep C profile and an ebony fretboard guarantee the playability of an electric guitar, making extensive sequences of notes and solos a breeze. In addition, a Satin Urethane finish allows the picking hand to glide effortlessly over the neck.

A finely notched nut made of Graph Tech TUSQ and a compensated saddle allow the 6 steel strings to intonate very cleanly over the entire scale length of 648 mm and thus also allow the problem-free use of a capo. The chrome-plated Fender standard cast/sealed staggered tuners with their fine transmission ensure easy and precise tuning and give the instrument a traditional appearance in combination with the characteristic headstock. Two potentiometers on the top of the instrument allow you to adjust the Master Volume and the mode (A/B) can be adjusted individually. In addition, the individual pickup points can be switched through via a 5-way switch .
