Designed to work primarily with the Reference 4 Studio Edition speaker calibration software, the SONARWORKS Calibration Measurement Microphone for Recording Studios includes an XREF20 measurement microphone, an individual off-axis calibration curve, and an individual 0° calibration curve. It is used to measure the frequency response of your room and speakers, capturing the acoustic characteristics your listening environment exhibits, and allowing the software to remove the unwanted sonic artifacts from the sound arriving to your ears.
The microphone features a pre-polarized, electret-condenser capsule with an omnidirectional polar pattern, and each mic is individually calibrated, ensuring a flat frequency response with optimal precision. Also included is a 21-day trial version of Sonarworks Reference 4 Studio Edition (Mac or Windows).
