Taylor's 200 Series:

Taylor's 200 series guitars are the advanced player's instrument and come with a solid spruce top in combination with a selection of layered rosewood, koa or sapele bodies. Offered body shapes are the Grand Auditorium and Dreadnought guitar.

Compared to regular models, deluxe series guitars boast several upgrades. Deluxe features include small diamond inlays instead of dots, Rosewood truss rod covers and a Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Case. Electroacoustic guitars are equipped with the state-of-the-art Expression System 2 with three separate sensors behind the saddle.

The Dreadnought Body:

The most famous of all: No other acoustic guitar has been played as often as the legendary dreadnought. This true all-purpose guitar represents a powerful tone with a lot of coloration. True to its Bluegrass and Folk origins, the Dreadnought is the perfect choice for strummers and flatpickers.

Expression System 2:

The Expression System 2 upgrades the regular ES-System. Its transducers are now installed behind the saddle. Instead of picking up the saddle's vertical motion, the ES-2 relies on the horizontal vibration. The result is a warm and complex tone wiht piano-like basses and balanced trebles.
