The beyerdynamic Impacto universal is a high-end digital-analog converter that is integrated directly into the headphone cable. The Impacto universal is flexible and can be used on Apple and Android (USB OTG) devices as well as PCs and notebooks. Thanks to the integrated, practically noise-free amplifier, the Impacto universal is ideally suited for use with low and high impedance headphones. Three models of the current Beyerdynamic range are available as headphones:

Connected to the player, the Digital-Analog-Converter takes over the complete audio signal processing of the player. The audio quality does not depend on the components of the player, but the DAC of the Impacto universal converts the high-resolution music data back into analogue format and amplifies it with an audiophile quality that fully exploits the acoustic potential of Beyerdynamic headphones. The Sabre32 Mobile Reference DACTM decodes high-resolution audio signals up to 32-bit and 384 kilohertz resolution.
