The AES16e-50 from Lynx Studio Technology is a PCI express AES/EBU digital computer interface card, with 32 channels of AES50 inputs and outputs, and 16 channels of sample rate conversion. It's a powerful tool for integrating with digital consoles, multi-channel A/D and D/A converters, and digital audio workstations. It features an integrated 64 channel software mixer that provides zero-latency monitoring.
Whether you're working with dual-wire 96 kHz or 192 kHz devices, or single-wire AES/EBU 192 kHz standards, the AES16e-50 will support them. For larger installations, the AES50/SuperMac port enables long runs on CAT-5 cable that are free of degradation, even when passing high channel counts. It also enables connected devices to be monitored and controlled through networked browsers.
The on-board mixer software supplies you with a virtual patch-bay functionality, and enables you to save and recall an unlimited number of routing configurations and mixer scenes. Exclusive SynchroLock technology provides excellent tolerance to jitter when syncing to an external clock. Four cards can be installed on a single computer for a total of 64 inputs and outputs of low latency, high bandwidth audio.
