Marshall DSL 5 Combo

This 5 Watt combo is the smallest member of the DSL series. It gives you access to the distinct DSL tone with fantastic versatility. An all-valve signal path equipped with three ECC83 tubes in the preamp and one power amp 12BH7/ECC99 valve over two channels: classic and ultra gain, for brilliant clean tones, sweet crunches and saturated distortions.

A high/low power switch instantly converts the amp from 5 to 1 watt operation, delivering that rich tube sound without having to crank the volume. As with the DSL models it also features popular Tone Shift and Deep switches as well as a bypassable serial effect loop, an audio input plus an emulated line/headphone output.

The Marshall DSL5C features two foot-switchable channels: Classic Gain and Ultra Gain. With the DSL5C, you can go from glassy Plexi-esque cleans, to JCM800-style snarl, hot-mod 2203, face-melting high gain - and everything in-between.

The Celestion "Ten 30" Speaker of this compact combo is the optimal partner for this full-tube combo, as even at medium volumes it able to fully unfold its sound potential. The internal speaker of this combo is not directly wired to the circuitry of the amplifier, instead it is connected by a 16 Ohm speaker socket, which allows you to connect one of Marshall's full-sized cabinets instead of the internal speaker.
