The Antelope Audio Orion Studio Rev. 2017 is a 1U Thunderbolt/USB audio interface featuring 12 mic preamps, 16 mic/line instrument inputs and 16 line outputs. With 12 Class-A Hi-Z, mic and line compatible preamps, this is the only piece of gear you require to record a full band like a professional. Equipped with brand new AD converters for 2017, the Orion Studio offers an industry record dynamic range of 124 dB, with a superior low latency performance. The Orion Studio features the full array of real-time FPGA powered vintage FX, including Antelope&rsquo-s traditionally stunning AD/DA conversion, powered by 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC) technology for jitter management. You can control the Orion Studio via user-friendly desktop and mobile applications.

The powerful Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) device gives massive parallel processing capabilities that are far ahead of DSP chips used in similar devices. The FPGA provides the lowest latency possible, allowing you to create up to four independent, zero latency mixes. Those can be easily assigned to any output including the two separate headphone outs. With five new compressor models you can now open up to 32 compressors at once, without losing any of your 40 EQ instances. All Antelope Audio FX can be used for real-time tracking, monitoring and are easily routed to work on a mix inside the DAW.

Each Orion Studio Rev. 2017 comes with Antelope Audio's FPGA-based Effects modelling platform including a pack of free FX - Guitar Amps & Cabs, EQs, Compressors and AURAVERB reverb. Currently there are at least 30 free FX, with more being released constantly.
