Fame Ukuleles are made in Portugal by experienced guitar makers exclusively from solid, Portuguese Koa. Finished by hand and the spectacular grain gives each instrument an individual character.
Its worth noting that Portugal is the birthplace of this kind of instrument. It was Portuguese explorers and sailors who brought the first Ukuleles to the islands of Hawaii.
The Soprano Ukulele is the most common ukulele. Other body shapes have been developed over the years. Consequently the Soprano Ukulele is considered the "Original".
