The Fender Classic Player Rascal Bass is based on the design from Custom Shop Master Builder Jason Smith and therefore offers a series of inspiring features. This compact short scale electric bass combines elements from various times throughout Fender’s history with three Lipstick pickups, to create one unique instrument with a characteristic sound and a great Retro look.

Important design elements of the Fender Classic Player Rascal Bass are borrowed from the Bass VI body and the headstock of the Coronado, which together result in a harmonious retro look in best Fender tradition. The 30" Short Scale offers a very soft playability along the entire fingerboard plus warm articulation.

The Bass VI inspired body of the Fender Classic Player Rascal Bass carries three Seymour Duncan Lipstick pickups.Lipstick Single Coils

The pickup selection of the Fender Classic Player Rascal Bass is made up of three Lipstick Single Coil pickups from Seymour Duncan, which gives this Bass a wide spectrum of powerful and percussive sounds. Next to the 5-way pickups selection switch, there are also push/pull switches integrated into the volume knobs, which adds the neck pickup to positions 4 and 5.
