The equipment is completed by a Tune-O-Matic bridge with strings made of titanium and Grove tuners.
The Gibson ES-335 in the chic Pelham Blue finish delivers authentic vintage sounds thanks to its classic construction and Burstbucker pickups.
Gibson ES-335 Pelham Blue: classic construction, strong neckThe body of the Gibson ES-335 Pelham Blue is made of the traditional three-layer maple/poplar laminate, with the solid maple center block connecting back and top. Accordingly, the semi-acoustic electric guitar has a particularly warm basic tone with a resonant wood note, which is insensitive to feedback even at high volumes. With its strong "C" profile, the mahogany neck is also extremely comfortable to hold, providing the perfect basis for classic and modern playing styles.
Gibson Burstbucker for vintage soundsThe electric tone conversion of the Gibson ES-335 Pelham Blue is done by the Gibson Burstbucker 1 on the neck and the slightly hotter Burstbucker 2 on the bridge, two absolute classics in the Gibson program, which convince with their authentic vintage sound. Both pickups deliver an extremely warm sound that brings every tone to life with stable bass, vocal mids and glassy highs. The classic circuit with a 3-way toggle switch as well as individual volume and tone controls can be used to call up extensive tones.
Modern bridge, classic mechanicsThe body of the Gibson ES-335 Pelham Blue features a modern interpretation of the Tune-O-Matic bridge developed by Ted McCarty in the 1950s. With its extremely hard titanium string riders, the Gibson ABR bridge supports the harmonious sound of the electric guitar, while at the same time guaranteeing perfect adjustment of intonation and string position. From the bridge, the strings are guided with the traditional 24.75" scale (628 mm) towards the headstock, on which Grover Milkbottle Rotomatics with historically correct casings ensure a stable tuning.
