The Gibson SG High Performance 2019 Trans Black Fade combines the legendary Doublecut design with modern detail solutions to create a top-class electric guitar that offers optimum playing characteristics and a wide range of sound options. Gibson uses a mahogany body with a maple top and a glued mahogany neck in a slim taper profile. Combined with the innovative HP-4 circuit and four push/pull potentiometers, the Gibson Burstbucker Pro Rhyhtm and Burstbucker Pro Lead pickups also deliver a wide range of sounds for every musical style. Last but not least, the Gibson SG High Performance 2019 features a Nashville bridge with titanium string riders, an aluminium stop bar and Grover Locking Rotomatics.

Classic SG style with high playing comfort

Based on the classic SG style with its two distinctive corpus horns, the Gibson SG High Performance 2019 offers a mahogany corpus with a chic AA quality curly maple top and a glued mahogany neck with a richlite fingerboard in which mother-of-pearl trapezoidal inlays mark the positions between the 24 frets at the usual positions. The slim "Slim Taper" profile lies extremely comfortably in the hand, so that every reef and lick goes out of the hand as if by itself.

Versatile sounds with Burstbucker Pro Pickups and HP-4 Circuit

The Gibson SG High Performance 2019 also convinces with a broad sound spectrum at the guitar amplifier. The Gibson Burstbucker Pro Rhyhtm and Burstbucker Pro Lead+ humbuckers on the neck and bridge deliver authentic humbucker sounds that are reminiscent of the legendary PAFs with their high dynamics and vocal sound qualities. The four push/pull potentiometers of the Gibson HP-4 Circuit can also be configured via an internal DIP switch, allowing you to access a wide range of sound possibilities with coil split, coil tap, out-of-phase and transient supression.

In addition, the Gibson SG High Performance 2019 Trans Black Fade is equipped with high-quality hardware whose unshakeable reliability can easily withstand even the toughest stage use. The body is fitted with the proven combination of an aluminium stop bar and a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, which not only supports harmonious sound development with titanium string riders, but also guarantees optimum intonation. Behind the height-adjustable Zero-Fret titanium groove, Grover Locking Rotomatics on the headstock ensure precise and stable tuning.
